Managing change effectively in the organization begins with you. Learn about your own personal reactions to change. Learn how you can introduce change in a way that recognizes the human needs in conjunction with the business needs. Identify what you can do to support and drive the change.
In this workshop, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of how you personally respond to change and how that reflects the normal reactions to change.
- Identify how you can lead and implement change in your team and the organization that accounts for the human factors within the change process.
- Identify what you can do to be an effective change agent by increasing your ability to respond to change resisters.
Workshop Length: 3.5 hours
Target Audience: Those who lead and manage change in the organization
Specifically designed for leaders in local churches, this interactive workshop will help participants focus on the human side of change. We explore normal responses to change and identify how as church leaders, we can honor the human needs and still move the church forward.
Explore ways to instigate change—fundamental ways to facilitate the change effort—identifying helping forces that position change for success.
Engage and guide people through the change process. We will introduce practical methods and tools to help assess how “ready” we are for change, surface the needs of the people we depend on to help make the change real and identify ways to know what people are thinking.
In this workshop, participants will:
- See the larger framework and connect personally to change.
- Identify where to start ….instigating change in their local church.
- Learn practical, hands on tools for moving the change effort forward.
- Commit to a plan for taking the next step in the change process.
Workshop Length: 7.5 hours with lunch
